Both of them are captured under full screen mode, at the same resolution. Please open the captures in their original size, i'm sure you will find the difference. You can find the capture picture in my previous post for comparision. My question is under the full screen mode. I'd like to ask is there any options can be checked to leave the scale function to the game itself, or any options can make a similar effect(scale smoothly), sorry for that i did not find any docs introduce the options in the setting panel, is there any doc can be read? Obviously the game itself and dxwind used two different scale method. I did know the original resource(pics) of the game is at a resolution of 640x480, by default the game will automatically scale itself to full screen, and the pics still looks quite smooth, i dont know how they did it (using the scale function of graphic card driver? I used dxwrapper the output log shows the game is using bltfast.) By default these things are quite smooth. So i checked "keep aspect ratio" and "Desktop" in the position setting of dxwind, however the texts and pics in the game become quite rough. The problem is the game is running at a full screen mode by default. I have an old game with the issue of running too fast(sometimes more than 1000+ FPS under an i7 processor), so i use dxwind to make it slow down.
